Post-Event Cleaning Services in Indianapolis

Your Venue, Reset and Ready for the Next Event

A wedding ends at eleven. The next tour is at ten the following morning, and there may be another event the following night. Between those two moments, several hundred people have to be cleaned up after: floors, restrooms, getting-ready suites, entry glass, and a reception hall that has to go back to looking untouched.

For a venue, that turnaround is not a cleaning problem. It is an operations problem. Every event you book depends on the space being ready, and a venue that looks tired on a Saturday tour does not book the couple standing in it.

Indy Cleaning Solutions provides post-event cleaning for wedding, banquet, and event venues across the Indianapolis metro. We work on contracted monthly schedules, not call-by-call. Our crews finish in the hours after an event or first thing the following morning, and we help reset the space so your staff is not doing it themselves at midnight.

Venues We Clean

We currently handle the post-event cleaning at an approximately 20,000 square foot wedding and event estate in Westfield, and have since the venue opened in early 2026. It runs between anywhere from twelve and twenty-two events in a typical month, and our crew is there after each one.

We also provide post-event cleaning at a second downtown Indianapolis-area event venue, and are currently in conversation to start several more across over the coming months.

Post-event cleaning is not a deep clean performed occasionally. It is the same demanding turnaround, executed correctly, twenty times a month, on a schedule that does not move because a wedding ran long.

What Post-Event Cleaning Covers

Every venue is different, and the scope is built from a walkthrough of yours. This is the work a typical wedding and event venue scope includes.

Reception Hall and Event Space

Floors swept and cleaned with a commercial floor scrubber rather than a mop and bucket, which matters in a room that has just held a few hundred guests, a bar, and a dance floor. Spills addressed, debris cleared, and the room brought back to a presentable baseline. We assist with resetting reception tables as needed, so your staff is not handling it after a long night.

Ceremony Space

Floors swept and scrubbed, debris and program materials cleared, windows within reach cleaned, and the space reset for the next event, including resetting chairs to your layout.

Restrooms

Cleaned and fully restocked after every event. Fixtures, sinks, counters, and mirrors cleaned, floors mopped with a restroom-appropriate disinfectant, partitions wiped, and paper products, soap, and liners replenished. Guest restrooms at a wedding venue take heavy, concentrated use in a short window, and they are the space guests judge you on.

Getting-Ready Suites

Bridal suites and separate getting-ready spaces cleaned and reset. Surfaces wiped, mirrors cleaned, floors handled, trash cleared, and the room returned to the condition the next party expects to walk into. These rooms take more use than people expect, and they are easy for a general cleaning crew to underestimate.

Entries, Vestibules, and Glass

Entry areas and vestibules cleaned, glass spot-cleaned after every event, and reachable glass fully cleaned on a daily rhythm. Entry glass is the first thing a touring couple sees and the fastest thing to show a hundred guests’ worth of handprints.

Trash Removal

All trash bagged and moved to your dumpsters. Events generate an enormous volume of waste in a very short window, and leaving it for the next morning is how a venue starts a Sunday behind.

Deeper Periodic Cleaning

Post-event work keeps a venue presentable, but a building running twenty events a month needs more than that. We build monthly deep cleans into venue contracts: the detail work, high dusting, and areas a fast turnaround does not reach.

Optional Additions

Some venues want their kitchen, bar, and food service areas included in the post-event scope. Others handle those with their own staff. Either arrangement works, and we will scope it however your operation is set up. Wiping down tables and chairs can also be added to the standard scope if you would rather that not fall to your team.

Every venue runs differently. Let us walk yours and build a scope around how you operate.

How We Work With Venues

Contracted Schedules, Not Emergency Calls

We work with venues on contract, not one-off bookings. You send us the event schedule for the coming month roughly two weeks ahead, and we staff against it. That is how the work gets done reliably: the crew is assigned, the hours are planned, and nobody is scrambling on a Friday afternoon.

We do not take short-notice one-time event cleanups. That is a deliberate choice. A venue does not need a vendor who might be available; it needs one that is already scheduled. Taking scattered emergency work is exactly how cleaning companies end up unable to cover the accounts they have already committed to.

Same Night or Next Morning

At most venues we clean in the hours immediately after the event ends, finishing overnight so the building is ready first thing. At others, next-morning service fits the schedule better. We do both, and we will work out which suits your booking pattern during the walkthrough.

Working those hours is not glamorous, and it is the main reason many cleaning companies will not take venue work. It is also the entire job. An event venue cannot be cleaned during business hours, because business hours are when the next couple is touring.

Cleaning and Resetting Are Different Jobs

Most cleaning companies only do the first one. We assist with resetting reception tables and ceremony seating as part of our scope, because a space that is clean but not reset is not ready, and the alternative is your team doing it after midnight.

The Same People, Every Event

Our cleaners are W-2 employees of Indy Cleaning Solutions, background checked and trained on our procedures. We assign consistent crews to venue accounts, so the people in your building know your layout, your storage, your reset standards, and your quirks. In a business where the turnaround window is measured in hours, a crew that already knows the room is worth a lot.

We carry $2,000,000 in aggregate general liability coverage along with full workers’ compensation and commercial auto insurance, and we provide certificates of insurance on request.

Events and Venues We Serve

Our focus is wedding and banquet venues, which is where the turnaround demands are highest and where we do most of our work. We also handle:

  • Wedding ceremonies and receptions

  • Banquets, galas, and fundraisers

  • Corporate events and company parties

  • Rehearsal dinners and showers

  • Conferences and business meetings

  • Private parties and celebrations

We clean inside the venue and the immediate grounds around it: entries, patios, and adjacent areas. We do not take large-scale outdoor or festival grounds cleanup.

Additional Services for Venues

Venues need more than post-event turnarounds, and most of our venue clients use us for more than one thing.

Floor Restoration and Carpet Care

A venue running twenty events a month puts more wear on its flooring in a year than an office does in five. We handle hard floor scrubbing and refinishing, strip and wax, high-speed burnishing, and carpet extraction in-house with our own equipment. Spot extraction for wine, food, and similar event damage is handled as a scheduled visit, and periodic deep floor work can be built into your contract or arranged as needed. Our floor maintenance page covers the full range.

Day Porter Support

Venues with heavy daytime tour traffic or multi-day events sometimes want someone on site during business hours keeping restrooms stocked and common areas presentable. Our day porter services cover that.

Post-Construction Cleaning

Building or renovating a venue? We handle post-construction cleaning for commercial projects, including a recent 20,000 square foot event facility in Westfield: windows inside and out, all flooring, kitchen and bar areas, and detail work throughout.

Areas We Serve

Indy Cleaning Solutions provides post-event cleaning throughout Indianapolis and the surrounding Central Indiana communities. Our core service area includes Indianapolis, Westfield, Carmel, Fishers, Noblesville, Zionsville, Greenwood, Avon, and Plainfield, and we also serve Speedway, Brownsburg, Danville, Mooresville, Bargersville, Greenfield, New Palestine, and Shelbyville.

That footprint covers Marion County, Hamilton County, Hendricks County, Johnson County, Boone County, Hancock County, and Shelby County. If your venue sits just outside that area, call us. Contracted venue work routes differently than nightly cleaning, so we can often make it work.

Frequently Asked Questions About Post-Event Cleaning

A typical venue scope covers the reception hall or event space, ceremony space, restrooms, getting-ready suites, entries and vestibules, and all trash removal. Floors are cleaned with a commercial floor scrubber, restrooms are cleaned and fully restocked, glass is spot-cleaned after each event and fully cleaned within reach on a daily rhythm, and we assist with resetting tables and seating for the next event. Kitchen, bar, and food service areas can be included or left with your own staff, whichever fits your operation. We also build monthly deep cleans into venue contracts.

Usually, yes. At most venues we begin after the event ends and finish in the hours afterward, so the building is ready first thing the next morning. Some venues prefer next-morning service instead, and we do both. Overnight work is why many cleaning companies avoid venues altogether, but a venue cannot be cleaned during business hours. That is when tours and setups are happening.

Turnover cleaning is residential: preparing a rental house or apartment between tenants. Post-event cleaning is commercial, performed at a venue or facility after an event, to reset the space for the next one. They are different services with different scopes and different buyers. We offer both, but a venue needs post-event cleaning.

On contract. Venues send us the event schedule for the coming month about two weeks ahead, and we staff against it. We do not take short-notice one-time cleanups. A vendor who is already scheduled and already staffed for your dates beats one who might pick up the phone.
